Dr. Lily is rare amongst acupuncturists in that she holds both medical and doctoral degrees with oriental and western medical training. She graduated from ShanDong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1988 and then spent the next decade practicing Chinese medicine and acupuncture in a Chinese hospital. She earned her PhD of Medical Sciences at Kyoto University in 2005 then came to Washington University Medical School for her post-doctoral fellowship. She is a certified acupuncturist by NCCAOM, as well as a licensed acupuncturist in Missouri.
Dr. Lily combines oriental and western medical training with her passion for diagnosing the root of disease, which enables her to provide holistic treatments for a broad range of ailments. She strives to help her patients live with minimal pain and maximum health.
She successfully treats a wide range of diseases, including arthritis, migraines, menopausal symptoms, sleep issues, GI issues, pre- and post-surgical pain, anxiety and depression.
Her painless needle technique keeps many satisfied patients healthy and in-balance. Areas of specialty she particularly offers to women in various life stages include: Menstruation discomfort, fertility, morning sickness/first trimester nausea, pre-labor, perimenopause and supplemental therapies with hormone replacement treatments.
